  1. I used Dr Travis Goodnight in Van Buren. I was self pay and it cost me 12500 for everything.
  2. It does get so much better. I'm at week 8 and I can eat anything but in very small amounts.
  3. Those first two weeks are the worst. It does get better keep your chin up.

  5. My doc told me to worry about liquids than protein that early. I am 4 weeks and still don't like the protein drinks. Once you get a little ways down the road if you like shrimp I bought a bag of cooked at walmart. It has 42 grams of protein for 6 oz. I wasn't a big shrimp eater before but it sure beats protein shakes. Good luck!
  6. I stalled at 3 weeks out for about 10 days. I went on a little vacation and while I was gone I ate a small brownie and some lite popcorn and wham my stall broke. I ended up losing 5 pounds. Keep your chin up.

  9. My Surgery may 14th starting weight 272. I had a 3 week stall but I weighed today and 23 down. So hopefully I've broke my stall.
  10. How can this happen already? I was doing great a total of 21 lbs the first two weeks. I weighed today and nothing. Im getting around 40 grams of protein and under 600 cal. I try to be as low fat as possible. My husband lost four pounds this week dieting off and on and I lose nothing with my little sleeve! Is it normal to stall this fast?
  11. Im two weeks out today and this is not a quick fix! I'm not physically hungry but I am head hungry. All though physically I can't eat but a small amount I have to choose those few bites very carefully. Everyday is still a choice. Do I eat my tuna salad or do I eat a piece of chocolate cake? So far so good. You still have to have the will power and the surgery helps with the amount you eat but not what you eat.
  12. Jeni, I wish I had that kind of strength!
  13. Just wondering from some of the others how long were you into your sleeved journey before you experienced your first stall and how long did it last?
  14. River Valley is where I live. We are neighbors Rootman!
  15. Thanks for all the encouragement. I'm feeling better this evening. Who knows what tomorrow will hold I'm gonna buckle up and be ready for this bumpy ride!
