Premier Protein And Gummie Vitamins

Just an FYI for anyone who buys Premier Protein shakes from costco. They have a $5.00 off coupon in the add for the protein. It's good for about a month, I think. There is a limit of 2 but my Costco let me keep my coupon so I can reuse it should I want more. Also, if you didn't get the coupons, go to Customer Service. They will give you another booklet with them all on there.

Also, there is a coupon in there for gummie Vitamins. I think it was for $2.50 or $3.00 off.

I took advantage of my coupon. Definitely a good reminder! Thank you.

I bought two cases today. With the one case I bought almost a week ago I'm good to go for my preop diet. I'd love to stock up for my postop diet, but I fear my tastebuds might change.

Amy, the shakes keep pretty well, so even if your taste buds change early post-op, the shakes will still be good in a few months when you're ready to drink them. I'm on only my second or third case of them, at 8 months out, so you may want to stick with what you currently have. :)

I should probably add that I like the shakes just fine, but I will add protein powder to my coffee or make a shake in my blender if I'm home rather than do the ready to drink shakes. :)

Thanks Lisa. I don't plan on getting anymore for now. I will go through more than half of them during my preop. I plan on trying to do different things with them to keep things interesting.....if that is even possible.

Amy, You can do quite a bit with the protein shakes. Freeze them to make them ice cream consistency or use them as a pudding like edible. Pour them into other foods (decaf coffee) instead of creamer, or use them as part of a protein shake made with fruits if/when that is allowed for you. It's one way I get my carbs in before I work out, blend a protein shake with a banana and it's double-yummy. :)

Thanks for the ideas. The chocolate shake with a banana sounds yummy.
