Excercise

I know we Sleevers start walking immediately after surgery and its a good idea before surgery but how long until the surgeon usually releases us for more vigorous excercise like weight training and jogging?

6 to 8 weeks is a general guidline. I believe it is to ensure that you do not injure your staple line in any way and cause a leak.

There is a whole forum on exercise on here.

Around 8 weeks for me is when I restarted my spin classes, step aerobics and running. I didn't lift heavy weights (bench press) until I was 3 months out.
