Got you Stacey, added you to the group!

I may even workout a little this evening. Just the elliptical for 10-20 mins, see how long I can do it. I will take it slow & easy, but want to start some exercise.

Thanks!! I am 5 days post op...couldn't dream of trying to work out right now. I had a hernia repair also in my diaphragm which makes it rough to breath easy while I am healing. My hubby just wrapped me in saran wrap so I could take a shower and after I was done I was exhausted!!!

Why did you have to wrap in saran wrap? Do you have a drain still?

Just interested as I was told to take a shower every day & let the water go on my incisions, then pat them dry gently.

Yep...drain won't be removed till tomorrow. Hopefully he will let me know what to do with the incisions too. I would like to change the bandages or clean the sites or whatever it is I am supposed to do.

Hey BNM - been thinking about you!!!!!!! Glad to know you are healing - but that is so tough with that hernia!

Hi Sharon, I've asked you to be my friend and would like to join the "secret" May group. My name is Karen T. I don't like to give out full names over the Internet.

I've been very busy. My oldest daughter gave birth to her first child and my first grandchild yesterday. She is beautiful, of course. What else could I say. :P I can definitely tell that anesthesia is still wearing me out.

Hey my Sleeve buddies! Several of us going in on the 23rd! Yeah! And welcome to our newbies!!!

23rd...is getting close!! Soooo close!!
'I know - Right!!!!! So excited. Today was my last day at work until I go back. Tomorrow is classes and getting to the hospital and getting pre-registered! Woo Hoo

I am soooo excited for u guys! I am one week post-op now. I got dressed to go to my check up with the surgeon this morning to get my drain removed and my clothes are already getting super baggy...any pain u feel after is worth it...mine was excrucitating. Most don't have it that bad...but one week out and already looking better and clothes looser...can't beat it!!

I am one wk post op now, still tire easily but otherwise feeling great. The scale isn't moving as quick for me, when I came home I was 15lbs more than when I went in! I've lost that fluid and now 4 down from pre op weight.
