Marriott In Tijuana

My wife and I are both getting sleeved on May 15th. I have heard great things about the hospital, doctor and staff, but haven't heard much about the Marriott or things to do in Tijuana. Any suggestions or any feedback on the hotel? Is there anything to do there? Also, my biggest question...Are all the tv shows/stations in Spanish?

I'm going down on 5/21 with my mother and having surgery on 5/22 and returning home on 5/26. I have checked out pictures and review of the hotel on tripadvisor.com. Just search for Tijuana Marriott!!!!! Most of the reviews are four star and up!!!

I have been at the Marriott Tijuana for the last couple of days. The hotel is nice, the bed is comfortable, there are a few (3-4) english speaking channels, and free wi-fi.

They also offer 3 bowls of broth, 2 bottles of water, and 2 ice pops (watermelon or cantaloupe) each day during your stay. You can get this 24 hours a day at their restaurant or through room service. Also, if you are traveling with someone they get a 15% discount on any of their food. The prices aren't unreasonable $10-$12 per meal.

How was the surgery??? How do you feel?? - I am going to Dr Garcia as a few others are in this thread......maybe you can give us some pointers or info. What you said so far was helpful - right about now anything is good!

I just posted a (super long) review of my experience with Dr Garcia and the hospital. Hope it helps! Sorry about the grammer and mis spellings... It was written from my phone and my spell check is goofy!

Thankyou for your post - was great for me to read your review, its people like you who take the time to type all this information that makes it better for people like me!!

Mine will be May 10th... How exciting to see how many people will be there around the same time as me. Congrats!
