Marriott In Tijuana

My wife and I are both getting sleeved on May 15th. I have heard great things about the hospital, doctor and staff, but haven't heard much about the Marriott or things to do in Tijuana. Any suggestions or any feedback on the hotel? Is there anything to do there? Also, my biggest question...Are all the tv shows/stations in Spanish?

When you told people you were having the surgery what was their response? I'm seeing about 50/50. Some are supportive and others tell me I "really should think about it". Lol, that's even before I t

I am also being sleeved on May 15th by Dr. Garcia and will be staying at the Marriott. Are you guys with Dr. Garcia as well or a different doctor?

Wow, I loved the Marriott - it was extremely nice, and clean. The beds were heaven. The staff is very courteous and I tipped them accordingly.

Garcia is our doctor as well.

& oh yes, the TV stations are in Spanish, I brought some movies with me to play on my laptop.

Ive heard the Marriot is very nice. And that they have many English channels. You couls probably get a more direct answer from your coordinator! Keep us posyed, and best wishes to you and your wife

I am going on May 7th to be sleeved by Dr. Garcia and I heard the marriott was wonderful. Urisboo72 just came back and posted a review of Dr. Garcia, his staff, the hospital and the Marriott.

This should help with some of your questions.

I am also being sleeved by Dr Garcia on 17th May. Good luck everyone - I am excited!

Mine will be May 10th... How exciting to see how many people will be there around the same time as me. Congrats!

Sounds like there will be a nice little group of us there then... :)

I was sleeved by garcia on 4/6 and stayed at the marriott after surgery. It is a very nice hotel. it was clean, staff was nice, hubby said food was good, beds were comfy, a few english channels.. One that played csi type shows all day, within walking distance of walmart and a shopping center, nice restaurant inside hotel.. All in all, we had a very pleasant stay.

I can't wait to hear your report!

Yep definitely the more information we get the more comfortable this all seems. Let's keep the thread going!
