Where Are My April 2012 Sleevers?

M scheduled for my surgery April 26th and I was curious to see who else would be walking in the shoes of April with me. Tell me how you feeling? What's on your mind? Any worries? Second thoughts?

Good luck today.

Hi,

Surgery scheduled for 10 a.m. tomorrow morning. Need to be at hospital at 8 am. My excitment is starting to rise!

Checking in. Still in the hospital. I've got to increase my fluid intake. Feels like I've done a million stomach crunches. Other than being a lil hoarse I'm doing fine.

Glad to hear you are doing well! Keep checking in to give us updates.

April 30th, scared as heck! I hate being put under, but I know I will be okay!

A million stomach crunches? Well, since we all do a million stomach crunches at least three times a day, that's no biggie, right? :D

So glad you're doing well!

i'm going to be in surgery within an hour.

I got to san deigo around 1 pm . The driver met us at the airport and kept us entertained for the drive into Tijuana. The border crossing was easy and quick. Trish met us at the hospital and showed us the room . It's neat, and clean . The only downside is the sleeping arrangements for your guest... don't look super comfortable. I saw the cardiologist and had an ekg and some blood work. The nurse Sonya came in and got an iv on me. She did a fabulous job. First poke and I have HORRIBLE veins Trish has been wonderful. Showed my sister the cafeteria and my sister said it smelled amazing.

I'll try to update once I feel better

So exciting! I'm loving these "almost in surgery" and "out of surgery" updates!

Let us know how it's going, out of the rain

Congratulations on everyone for surgery so far. I am set for next tuesday the 10th first case.

I'm out of surgery. Holy moly was I hot after... I was drenched with sweat on my face and body. I changed my gown for some pjs and feel so much better. Walked the halls. I had the dry heaves when I first got up to the bathroom but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I have swished with water in my mouth but am soooo thirsty .
