  11. Everyone is doing fantastic! It's been a little while since I checked it, but have been periodically checking posts. Things are going great! Starting weight 279, today I weight 219. I'm down an even 60lbs. Couldn't be happier and feel great! Hairloss is happening, but I'm not losing much. Way to go April sleevers!! I love reading everyone's progress.
  12. Keep an eye on it! If you don't see an improvement, I would call in a couple days. It sounds like it is getting better since it no longer hurts. You may just be seeing some residue left. Good luck!
  13. Yes, definately need to call! Good luck and keep us posted!
  14. I agree, probably gas pains. Call your doctor to double check just to be on the safe side.
  15. That's great!! So happy for you!!
  16. Yes, my insurance does not consider high cholesterol a qualifying diagnosis.

When did you have your surgery? Your sleeve may not be ready for the soft/mushy food yet.
  18. That's great!! Congratulations!! I, too, was so exstatic when I was told that the sleeve was now covered. Woohoo for you!

  21. I have only told a select few that I was going to have the sleeve, family, hairdresser, and two close friends. I have not told anybody new post op. Maybe if they ask how I have lost the weight, I might tell them. I'm not sure how I feel with this yet and it definately depends on the person that asks. Who knows, maybe in a few months I will want to shout it from the rooftop too.

  23. Wow, you look amazing! Congratulations!!
  24. I will be 4 weeks postop on Thursday and I can't get more than 600 calories a day and 60-70 grams of protein right now. But, I need to be working up to 1000-1200 calories that's what they want me to eat when I go on my regular diet. Not sure how I'm going to do it.
  25. Have you called your insurance company to see what their requirements are for surgery? Every insurance is different. If you haven't called, you may want to check with them tomorrow.

  27. I am also on the soft food stage. I can eat basically any soft food without problem, except for a scrambled egg. I don't know what it is, but I had horrible pain after I ate the egg. I wasn't able to eat the whole egg. It started after about 1/2 of it. I haven't tried it since, but I probably will attempt in another 2 weeks or some.
