  4. Thanks for the explanation for the pain under my ribs, it makes sense. Lost another pound today.... I think it's because I am not eating much. Slowly but surely I am feeling better. Thanks everyone

  10. Sorry for not reporting back sooner. I am feeling much better. I was diagnosed with pneumonia and pleurisy. From what I understand the pleurisy is a result of the pneumonia, pluerisy caused the swelling in my legs and feet. Not only that, even though I had a hysterectomy, I still cycle each month. Good ole pms! Bottom line is I am down 6 of the 9 pounds I gained. They couldnt tell me about the pain/tenderness on my right side under my rib cage, they said my gallbladder looked fine and I have no gallstones. Blood work and urine looked good. That's pretty much it! Thanks again for all of the responses.

  12. Thanks for asking...I am feeling okay today. I am going to go to the ER later this evening. I gained ANOTHER freakin pound! I will post what they find
  13. Thanks guys! My doctor is on vacation until Monday. If I gain anymore prior to her return, I am going to the ER. I forgot to mention I am having pain on my right side right under my rib cage when I take deep breaths and can feel it whenever I eat. It's tender to the touch and feels a little warm. I had a HIDA scan to check my gallbladder a few months ago and all was fine..... Would gallbladder issues cause weight gain and swelling? We will see I guess.

  17. Yes. I take 80 Mg of verapamil...once a day.my blood pressure was 120/69 Monday when I saw my gyn.....this,morn its 120/75....so not high...priorbto surgery ran about 140_148/80......
  18. My clothes are tighter. My waist was 32" weeks ago...this morning it is a little over 33"! .... My feet are also swollen a little. Something seems so wrong!
  19. I do actually walk about 30 minutes 3 to 4 times a week and do a workout video for about 30 minutes every other day....It is hard to increase protein because I can still only eat about 2 to 3 ounces at the MOST at one time. I guess I will have to start protein shakes again ...sigh
  20. Not sure what is going on...but my weight is creeping up every few days...I am one year out and recently decreased my caloric intake. I have NEVER had this happen before. The most I have gained is 3 pounds. it would be an up and down game for about a week and then lose it. .but now up up up! How is that much weight gain possible? I haven't really been doing alot of exercise...never have. Getting so FRUSTRATED!

  26. Although, I feel my weight loss has been a little slow considering my starting bmi, I am still losing even with my thyroid issues. I have no thyroid and take 1.5 grains of Naturethroid each day. I was at 2 grains but my levels were so low...I was getting insomnia. Doc had to adjust my dosage I guess due to the weight loss. I am still feeling a bit out of sorts and think it may have something to do with my thyroid. I think this will be a long time battle But nonetheless, I am still losing....

  29. Sleeved 4/2/12 .. Day of surgery 305 ... current weight 220 Slow and steady ....
  30. Even though my thyroid was removed about 6 years ago. Since surgery 4/2012 ,even with medication...my thyroid flucuates between high and low levels. I have been stalled for almost a month, no matter what I do and sometimes wonder if the long stall has something to do with my thyroid. Hopefully, we will get it right soon. Anyway, good luck to you.
  31. This started happening to me at about 3 months out. Same thing... lose 2 pounds....stall 3 to 6 weeks (sometimes I even GAIN in between). I thought it was just happening to me. But I guess slow and steady is better than nada!
