Weightloss Stall Everytime I Lose A Few Pounds . What Is Going On ?!?!?!?

I am just a few days shy of being 5 months post op. And for the past 2 months I will lose 2 pounds and stall for a few weeks. This seems to be the normal for me. I don't understand what is going on, has anyone else had this problem? Comments and suggestions are very much welcome !!!

Thanks

This started happening to me at about 3 months out. Same thing... lose 2 pounds....stall 3 to 6 weeks (sometimes I even GAIN in between). I thought it was just happening to me. But I guess slow and steady is better than nada!

I think a lot of us have this issue. I had lost five pounds fairly quickly as I was having a lot of liquid bm's. Well, after that problem passed, I gained a pound a day for five days and kept it on me for 2 weeks (on 700 or less calories) less than 40 grams of protein and almost 80 grams of protein. It took me about 2 weeks to lose that 5 pounds and I stayed the same weight for over a week. I finally just got under that month long stall by 2 pounds, but this was rough on me mentally.

I knew I was doing everything right and my body didn't follow through. I am 4 months out today.

Hi,crazy the way we lose post sleeve! At first I would lose about 5 pounds then stall 10 days. Then later lose 4 pounds stall 14 days.At 5 months I just stalled for weeks.I think 6.Then I lost 3 pounds and stalled again.

This can really mess with ones mind if the scale is important to you.Sticking it to the weight loss fairy would just be to start weighing once every two weeks...lol

this is the part of the process that I dislike the most!! I can deal with not being able to indulge in my favorite foods. I don't mind giving up sugar, bread, rice, pizza and fast food...I had the surgery for this purpose.

I do mind the fact that I gave up 85% of my stomach and have the scale not budge for weeks!!!! I get down right angry!!! I follow my eating plan to the letter, and when the scale does not move, I feel horrible:(

Thank you all for responding to my post. I also thought this was only me , I am sad to know yall are going through the samething however I am glad it is not just me !!! I was starting to think my body was destined to be fat. I am hoping we all continue to lose and no matter the rate. A little faster would be nice, but I will take a loss on the scale at any rate!! I just feel that my body should be eating its self by now with as little as I can eat!! If anyone you figure out a reason as to why this is happening or something you have discovered that speeds things up a little I would LOVE TO hear all about it : ) Hope you all have a great weekend !!!!
