My personal opinion is ephedrine is not a good idea. It makes my heart race.

DO NOT DO IT!!.. It may help a little with weight loss but the side effects are horrible it will cause crazy mood swings, raise your blood pressure give you heart palpitations and can cause heart attacks and is also very very addictive and many many other things.

I had a friend who had to go to rehab because he was so addicted to ephedrine.

Please just give yourself sometime to adjust to your new stomach and focus on getting in Water and Protein. The weight will come off.

It took some time to gain the weight and it will take time for it to come off.

Don't take ephedrine! It is really harmful. My aunt was hooked on it and ended up with an enlarged heart because of it. She also developed liver issues from prolonged use and now needs a transplant.

You will lose the weight if you have been sleeved. you need to be patient and just follow your doctor's instructions. You don't want to do something that may cause you to have a heart attack. Why is there a hurry to lose the weight? You don't want tp take anything or do anything that will put you at risk. The weight doesn't come off overnight. Perhaps you should go talk with a therapist if ou are thinking about taking this drug to see why you feel that way.

DO NOT USE EPHEDRINE. I took yellowjacket pills in the years of about 2000-2002 and was totally hooked on them because they contained ephedrine! it took me getting pregnant to stop using them! I was hooked on them and I'm VERY lucky that I didn't get heart problems or other issues. It caused me to feel cracked out, way hyper, and addictive. Trust me, it is NOT worth it! The weight loss from the sleeve is sufficient!

Sally, don't concentrate on skinny. You should be concentrating on healthy. This is not a short-term solution; it's forever. You will lose the weight, but you need to be healthy once you get to goal. The bonus is that you will get to live longer at the lower weight. If you work out and follow the recommended eating plan, you WILL get there and you will feel fantastic. What good is getting skinny if you lose your life over taking something to speed the process? Also, if you lose at a more natural rate, you'll have less issues with loose skin.

Good luck! :)

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
