Anyone From Chicago? Weight Loss Is Depressing.....

Sometimes I feel alone in this. Other people dont get the ups and downs. The are quick to critic what little amount I eat and it makes me feel horrible. Anyone out there in Chicago? Just to hear a real life buddy to hang out with, lol. Sorry to sound pathetic, lol

I'm no where near Chicago but, I know exactly how you feel. I hope you find a buddie near you soon. Does the hospital or your surgeon have a support group? Maybe you could meet a buddie there.

In the meantime, keep posting here. Good luck and you're not alone.

yes, my hospital does have a support group and an online support group but... I hope I don't offend anyone. They are all way older than I am. I am 32,they are all in their 50's lol. And they are all like years into their post op. I guess the young ones are too cool to go lol

I'm not in Chicago, but I am in South Bend, IN. I have several friends that are over in Chicago. I'm sure if you need someone, either I can help out or one of them can. By the way, they have all had WLS of some form. Hang in there...I know all about the critics on the amounts of food. Food still appears on my desk at work because they feel I need to eat way more than I do.
