  4. Thank you for your kind words. Yes, it is very sad and I need to cope differently other than reaching for comfort foods. Or at least try and reach for a glass of ice cold water! I will try, I promise my self and every wls person out there. We go through so much to get to this surgery and not fair to fail!!! thank you for the pick me up
  5. I don't know if anyone will read my blogs. But I thought this would be very theraputic to me? I will talk to my computer and hopefully it will talk back to me. I was doing phenomenal with my weight loss. I got sleeved on March 1st 2011. I was full of energy, happy and had so much planned. Until Oct. 30, 2011.... someone close to me passed away tragically. Someone my age, 31yrs old. I didn't eat for 3 days and lost so much weight fast... but then after that I had moments that I would eat non stop. It was a nightmare... it's going to be a year soon, and those feelings are coming back! January 25, 2012 someone else in my family closer to me passed away.... had to pay for the funeral. I didn't have 10grand saved aside as just incase of a funeral money. Needless to say, I went broke and still struggling. I over ate.... ate and ate and ate... why? people bought over food non stop and wanted us to eat! I flew out for this funeral... had to buy 3 round trip tickets from Chicago to California. Then pay for the funeral arrangments and body transferral to another country and a round trip ticket to accompany and attend this funeral...... Feb. 22nd... a friend dies.... Feb. 27th... a very dear close friend dies... March 2nd my baby cousin dies..... March 16th my uncles passes away.... and now... my friend is fighting for her life, cancer! Cancer took my friend away on March 09, 2011... newly sleeved I went to to her funeral. This friend who is fighting for her life... brain cancer.. sigh... doesn't remember my group of friends, and that is heart breaking to see her in this state. I don't know what to do anymore. I have been on anti depress. pills, xanax for anxiety... and yet nothing works. I feel like a failure in my wls as to I only lost 80lbs. and this is my momentary distraction of the night.
  6. I CAN NOT BURP FOR THE LIFE OF ME!!! sometimes it's painful but i have to deal with it! WHAT I DO ALOT IS... PppFFrapptabriiiffff (other end!) GROSS! especially when I drink milk good lord!

  9. I met a lady at my support group who did not even tell her own husband!!!!! he was away on a business trip (what the.. how did my font go this small!) yea but no one knew but him.. I asked her, didn't he wonder why she was in the hosp for few days or why she doesn't eat or can't eat like before. She said, she lied and said she "gall bladder removal" hmmm, crazy huh? if you own husband can't support you... then what? but to each their own
  10. WHEN I WROTE THIS... that is exactly what played in my head!! my fav band back in the day was GUNS N ROSES!!!! lol
  11. aw thank you all for the support. I have a friend who had the gastric bypass done and in a year she lost 150lbs, but that was because she was 300+lbs. I feel bad, but I want to tell her "well that was because you were way bigger than me, so shut up!" but I am polite and say "I had the sleeve and that works different, plus my bmi was less than yours" lol.
  12. I feel like a horrible liar keeping it away from facebook!! lol, only because I have people who I am not that close to and I don't want to hear negativity... I know I shouldn't care what people think, but I just want to keep my business my business. My husband, immediate family know.. some aunts/uncles, cousins bestfriends know but not beyond that.
  13. My aunt had gastric bypass surgery a year ago. She was a size 26 and now a 14. I had the sleeve done approx 1yr 2months ago. I was size 22 and now size 12-13... urgh.. I feel like a failure... as if I am in competition with my aunt now, I laugh about it but I truely feel like a failure! oh this fat!!!! be gone!!!
  14. Hi everyone!!! Sorry I have been missing in action! I got injured at work (bad) but now I am feeling a little better I am so happy though, today for the first time I wore a dress problem free!! I mean I jiggle but not as much as before.. The wraps I talked about before, they do work!! woohoo, my arm was 15inches before and 13 after, that was approx 2 weeks ago, they are still 13inches I am going to do my thighs next!!!! but I do ask you all to keep me in your prayers if you are praying ladies... I am devestated to my injury but I know God is great and he will see me through this rough time and hopefully no long term affects <3 amen.
