Even super moist and blended. Sucks. I need to figure out what I can do. I can't don't shrimp either. Just fish which I was never fond of. I am just gonna have to force myself to love it.

My favorite pre-op was chicken and post-op, I am very fortunate to be able to tolerate it just fine. Don't give up though, looks like you're still early out. You can try again a little later and your sleeve may decide it loves it again.

I can't do chicken either. I used to live on a rotisserie bird for two or three days and now it just won't stay down. However, I have no trouble at all with steak--I buy a tri-tip, cut it into 2.5 oz servings, and bag and freeze them. I eat lots of seafood, fish and eggs, too. Deli turkey, surprisingly enough, is easy for me to eat.

set the chicken aside and try it at a later date. Try tilapia - its not a "fishy" fish - and it pretty much, like chicken takes on the flavors of what you prepare it with. Grilled pork loin chops are another option - nice lean meat - gives you a bit of Iron and very tasty! There's always strip steaks, which are lower in fat. Stay away from tbones and ribeyes. They're very high in fat. :)

Wow - I thought I had lost my mind! I loved chicken before my surgery (11-17-2011). I cannot eat it in any form now. It upsets my stomach and feels like a roack is in my stomach. I didn't eat a lot of steak before surgery and now that doesn't upset my stomach... go figure.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
