I was sleeved on January 3. Up until the past week,I have loved my sleeve. However, for the past week I have been stalled. My starting weight was 263. I have been stuck at 242 for a week! Today, I am supposed to start on regular foods, but I am so worried that it will either prolong my stall or worse, make the scale go up! I know I am new to this, so I am open to any and all advice!

This is normal. You wont prolong or gain weight with regular foods. I found i actually had much more energy once i started regular foods, and the weight started dropping off again.

You will find you are also losing inches. I had my three week stall also. Your body has to have time to catch up somehow. Keep up the good work! ;)

You are smack in the middle of the 3rd week stall. 99% of sleevers will stall around this time. The only things you can do are stay with the plan and have patience. It will pass.

Don't worry stalls are normal and you might be stalled for a few more weeks. Prepare for the worst. YOU WILL keep losing!! Thats for sure. I was stalled at 225 in the beginning for 3 weeks. I thought that was the lowest I was going to weigh!! he he he

I just started real food today as well (yay!!). My surgeon told me to prepare to lose little or even nothing for the next 2 weeks. I hope that isn't the case, but I have prepared myself mentally. I just find it so interesting how the body works and how everyone releases weight at a different pace and at a different schedule.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
