I went to the Dr. today, and after seeing that I had lost 61 pounds he asked me when I wanted the surgery done; I said as soon as possible. The Dr. said I could have it done on Tuesday of next week, when I heard that I think my eyes bugged out and I couldn't say YES! fast enough. So after months of waiting for insurance, then bloodwork to be done the day is finally right around the corner =)

how terrific is that? you must be so excited. many times people have to wait weeks or months to get surgery. You are getting in a few days. no time to get too nervous, just stay so excited.

I told the Dr. I had been doing it since the end of October, he was impressed. I remember his secretary telling me during our first appt that sometimes people tried to do it for 3 weeks, but it was hard to do. The great thing is that because the surgery is in less than a week, I will only do the 4 Protein shakes with 0 carbs for like 4 days, instead of a whole week. I am so excited I have spent all night and day telling everyone I know about my surgery date.

Excellent! So happy for you! Being close to goal sure feels even better than I dreamed. But, you will find out for yourself.
