It's totally normal to be nervous... I was having doubts right up until they put the IV in my arm and wheeled me off, but I can honestly say that I have no regrets whatsoever! Good luck, and welcome to the loser's bench!

Ha, ha! You crack me up! But I totally get it - I was the same way, especially in the first 3 or 4 mos post op. But the good news is that it does get better, and you won't be so obsessed the farther out you get

Congrats to you - 12/27 was my surgery date last year! One thing that comes to mind is to take your measurements before surgery, I wish I had done that so I would have had another way to track my progress other than just the scale. Let me know if you have any questions!

Do you weigh yourself every day? Maybe it would help if you only weigh in once a week (I know, easier said than done, right?!) You are doing awesome

I had a pedi before surgery as well - no problems!

I think every woman on here can relate to what an awesome thing that is! Yay for you!

That's so funny because I also remember being so excited to NOT be able to shop at Lane Bryant anymore - since their smallest size is 14 and I'm currently in 10's or 12's, I can finally cut up that LB credit card once and for all!

Everybody is different, of course, but I had very little pain after surgery - would do it again in a heartbeat!
