3 Months And 100lbs Down

Recommended Posts

Ok so I haven't posted much -- but I read this forum all the time. I've been inspired so much, so I wanted to share my success so far. I was sleeved on 9/19/11 and have lost a little over 100lbs so far! I still have a long way to go, but I feel so much better already. This surgery was one of the best decisions of my life. FYI, I have a few more photos that I'm saving for my GOAL post :)

Wow, that is so awesome. I had my surgery 3 weeks ago and have lost 20 pounds. Did you have any stalls in weight loss? How much more do you need to lose?

Thanks for all the positive feedback everyone. I have not had any real stalls so far, except for a couple of days at the 3 week mark. I've been averaging a pound a day or 6-7 lbs per week. I have another 80 pounds to lose, which seems like so much still! But I'm sure it will be here in no time.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
