I Squeezed Into My Old Size 14 Jeans! Woot! Woot!

Recommended Posts

I weighed this morning after my walk and I was down to 154.4lbs! So I thought well....maybe I can finally get into a pair of size 14 jeans. And I got them on! Now do I have a hugh muffin top? Oh yeah...in fact, I am wearing a loose shirt to cover the muffin top but at least I can wear the darn thing! I have lost a lot of weight from my butt and thighs and not so much from my big tummy. My apron is getting smaller but still there so I guess I will have start putting in situps and core excercises to get things moving along. It sure feels good though to be shrinking! Love my sleeve!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THAT IS AWESOME!! Last Friday I was able to get my favorite old pair of jeans on and they were a little loose. Yesterday I was able to pull them on without unbuttoning them!! AND get this, the scale says I haven't lost a pound over this last week. There is absolute proof that I can lose inches even when the scale stays the same. Whew! I love the idea that my body is shrinking!

Quick question: How old are you pants? The only reason I ask is because if they are quite old like I had in my closet then you are probably smaller than a 14 now. So... just sayin'. ;)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
