Question About Gastric Sleeve Surgery Incisions

I am 5 days post-op

I have 7 incisions, each have 3-4 staples in them.

6 of them do not hurt at all.

1 hurts, and oozes a little. However, it looks like it is indented in my tummy a bit.

My tummy looks normal except where this one is, cuz it sinks in.

I am assuming that this is where they pulled out the stomach...

but the sinking in part...is that normal??

Yes the sinking in is normal. When I first saw mine I was like ummm, someone screwed up when they sewed me but now I am just fine, no more dents. I have heard other people ask about it on the boards before too and everyone seems to say the same thing. And that one does tend to me more sore for awhile.

I had my surgery on Nov 10th and my staples were removed one week later. I'm glad to read that the big sunken incision is temporary. All the other ones are fading. So far they only itch. I guess they're healing that's why they itch. All is good. :Banane55:
