Can you eat more during your period?

Recommended Posts

Do any of you ladies feel you can eat more during your period? I got these crazy cravings this past month and felt I ate more than I usually can. This is not a good thing! Wondering if any one else has experienced this?

I definitely feel like I can. I was actually going to ask this question a few days ago. Thank you for asking it! :)

I'm experiencing the opposite cuz I have not eaten much at all prior or during it. And having it couple weeks after surgery is painful. I also slept a lot and had a lot of naseau.

Yes! I had this problem this month - I was hungry all of the time during TOM which is somewhat unusual. Glad the hunger has subsided a little but hope it won't happen every month!

See, I am the opposite too. I get nauseous, and I have some "back end" issues. Sorry for the TMI! I normally stall because I can't eat, and I do not want to drink.

I can eat more the few days prior, then get nausea and then can't eat as much during. So I guess I'm a lucky one that gets to experience it all! :biggrin5:

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
