i know it was addressed to the gals but I have to chime in too - YES it is better for BOTH partners after a weight loss. As mentioned already, better stamina and the "geometry" of the act is just so much easier and fulfilling.

Oh so true!!!! It is sooooo much better!!!! ;)

In the words of the famous movie, yes, yes, yes! I always thought my bedroom life was good but wow now it's amazing. I feel more confident and my beautiful man friend is very happy too! ????

Sigh... was looking forward to that estrogen storm everyone talks about. The one where the fat melts and releases estrogen and the libido goes through the roof... sigh... I guess menopause and the hysterectomy leached all the estrogen. Maybe husbands comments don't help either.... You lost 40 lbs... where... hmmn your stomach is collapsing in on itself, u gonna lose that on your neck? ur breasts used to be fuller, you got what... about 40 lbs left just in you stomach? how come ur stomach is starting to sag... u need to lose more and it will go away...

Sorry had to vent.

LOL... Bendy I like that!!! I'll have to remember that we are more bendy, bendable than before. LOL......

Khy, Tell that man that he should appreciate that you are better looking than before and that you are much more energetic... or you would be if he'd stop his litany of complaints! :) Maybe he's jealous and hopes that you won't notice that other men will be looking at you. Or, maybe he's insecure and afraid you'll leave him when you lose the weight.

And, I agree, sex is WAY better now than it was before. :) I need a smile avatar for drooling! LOL

It's very possible if you've gone through menopause that you need hormones. I am on bioidentical hormones and I love having a sex life, even if I am 59, now that I have lost all my weight.

I'm sorry to hear your husband is not very supportive of your weight loss :(

It got better for awhile there and then I started getting shy again (very self conscious) of my sharpei skin on my inner thighs, upper arms, belly and my super deflated boobs (which I've lovingly started referring to as my Deflated pancake Boobs). LOL If sex with clothes on were a possibility I'd never leave the house :P

Seriously though, Enjoying, have you gone to see your obgyn to get your hormone levels tested and maybe discuss what's going on? Perhaps there's a prescription whether oral or topical that can be prescribed? I'd recommend you go directly to your doctor (do not pass go do not collect $200) to get to the bottom of this. Skinny sex is one of the perks of VSG!!

BTW, FluffyLibra, I had to lol at your "liftable" comment. A couple of months ago, my husband lifted me. Needless to say I wasn't expecting him to try. He scared the you know what out of me! I clung & dug in like a freaked out cat or monkey while screeching in his ear. I've never been lifted before LOL Word of warning? Make sure he tells you before he does it so you can be prepared. ;)

OUCH! Thats the kind of talk that leaves my husband with NO sex. Who wants to make love to that! So sorry you have to listen to that. You have done the right thing, and your health must be much improved... perhaps couples counseling? Best of luck....

Thats why victoria Secret was invented :-) You can fit into it now, so go on a crazy shopping spree, the hubs wont even be mad when he sees you in all the naughty goodness :blush2: and for the D.P.Bs get a wonderbra, they really are wonderful. Im not too worried about the boobs, ive always been well endowed even before i gained all the weight......one of m blessings.

fluffy, lol i DID go on a shopping spree last week since I'm CLOSE to goal size and considering winter stuff can be a little baggy and be ok, i finally gave in. i'm holding off on serious bra/underwear spending until i'm at goal..at least for VS/Fred's stuff. Believe me I've been looking! I did buy several bra/underwear sets at LB recently so I hope that boosts the girls back where they belong. I think I may just end up putting a "no braless sex" rule in place :P;) dh could care if i wore a burlap sack he's so enamored with my new body so i know it's all in my own head. funny story... there's a rumor going around that my dh is going around town with some skinny chick NOT his wife (when in fact it IS his wife..even my closest friends have told me i look like someone entirely not like me)... LOL so our joke is that he's cheating on his wife with his wife.
