12 day post op up date

Recommended Posts

I am down 25 lbs including my 10lbs pre surg diet wt loss. I am on a soft diet and am learning what my sleeve likes and doesn't likesad.gif. I can eat 1/4 of food at a time, NOT a bite more. I returned to work this week and as to where I can usually sit the better part or the day on my job it worked out that I ended up on my feet for 3.5 solid hours and it whooped my butt. I have not had Pain since 10/13/11 but today I felt it the price I paid for being on my feet yesterday.mellow.gif, I am finding hard to get more than 40 oz fluids in a day and I am getting about 60 gm Protein. My Dr wants me to get in 64 oz Fluid and 70 gr protein so I am working on that. I am glad I got my sleeve, I have a long way to go and am still learning this process

If my math is right, that's 15 pounds in 12 days - good for you! My doctor suggests about two weeks off work so it seems to me you have every right to tired. Don't wear yourself out, okay?

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
