Mexico and going alone?

Recommended Posts

I packed light with clothes, you really won't need much. I did take my Netbook, but it's a tiny laptop and doesn't weigh much. I took headphones/ear buds so I could listen to music or hear something on my netbook if I wanted to. I used a large duffle bag that has wheels on it, it seemed lighter than my rolling suitcases. I did the carry on thing, but I had someone to help me with lifting it into the overhead compartment on our return flight so I didn't have to worry about that. You might want do carry on on your flight there, but then check your bag on return so you don't have to worry about the lifting. I also used a messenger style bag that doubled as a handbag, laptop bag, and also put my small camera in it, along with my passport, money, chapstick, etc. I didn't want a bunch of different bags to have to worry about.

Good luck!

:)

Another question when going alone is...how did you pack? I know you aren't suppose to lift much? I thought about bringing my lAp top but thought it might be too heavy for me. Thinking I better pack light.

Thanks KellL! Checking my bAg on the return flight will help! My lap top is pretty big so I don't think I will try to take it.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
