The pad does shrink but the extra skin is still there. That said there is more "usable" length; just be careful not to hurt your partner with your enthusiasm for the extra length.

I would second that - the fat shrinks along with everywhere else, but there is still some skin sag (along with other places), so the locker room appearance may not have changed a lot, but there is more practical "reach" there now, just as there was when my wife lost her pubic pad after her surgery a few years ago. I expect that I will need to have a bit of tightening done when this is all over and that would get picked up along with the ab region.

This happened with me also! The pad is shrinking and I have atleast and extra 2-1/2" to 3 " of exposure in the flaccid state and the other state is doing well also  it has been a great side benefit....

I read somewhere that for every 35 pounds you lost you gain a usable inch.

I don't think that is true otherwise men who lose 200 pounds would gain 6 inches. There are only so many inches there to begin with. But, hey, no worries. You get extra inches on your manhood and we get extra inches in boob sag. You got the better end of the deal there.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
