Steri-strips - when did yours come off?

Tomorrow will be 3 weeks, one has come of and a second is partially off but the other 3 are holding strong. When did yours fall off?

Mine started to come off in 10 days or so. It largly depends on how much you perspire and how oily your skin is.

Mine had started to curl a little and just generally irritate me (and itch) after about 10 days. I waited until I was at the 2-week mark and then off they came. My incisions are all completely healed at the 18-day mark, although I think there's a tiny curl of a suture sticking out of one of them. I figure I'll just let it hang out and if it's still there at my 4 (5?) week follow-up, I'll ask my surgeon what to do about it.

My surgeon told me if any sutures poked out just to cut it off.

My surgeon told me to just let them fall off. After a couple weeks, the ends started to curl up so I just trimmed the ends off. At my 2 week appt (which was actually 2.5 weeks) my doc told me I could just take them off. They were pretty grody by that time lol.

My doctor took them off at my two week appointment. Now I am stuck with this grody bandage glue on my stomach because my brilliant Mother bought the industrial strength bandages to cover my sutures so they wouldn't become infected. Hey don't blame me I was drugged when she did it. She said the bandages that the doctor put on them were wimpy!!!! LOL.....
