So I went home Saturday got very weak and had to come back in. My bp dropped to 40/10. And the dr determined I was bleeding inside. I went to the icu for a night and then to a room. So here I am waiting for my blood levels to go up. Thank u all for your prayers and well wishes

Hope is going better today now that they know what it is - keeping you in my prayers, from my own hospital bed (I was sleeved today). Question, did they do a leak test on you poor to letting you start on water? I have an extremly dry mouth because I can't have water till after the leak test tommorow.

Yikes, that is so scary! Another reason Drs should let their patients stay in the hospital longer. I hope you are feeling better soon. Best wishes your way.

So a quick update. I got to go home yesterday. I was bleeding internally they think a blood vessel didn't completely cauterize. I feel so much bettter. Bp is up to 110/50. Thank you all so much for your prayers. I'm having no problem sipping liquids except for the protein drinks and they give me diarrhea. I guess it's pretty normal to feel weak after surgery also. Thanks again for being there

I had diarrhea for the first two weeks- my doc suggested diluting the Protein Drinks a bit more. It went away in week 3 (now the opposite!)

So sorry to hear of your complications after surgery. It sounds like you have some anemia from blood loss, too. I hope you will be better very soon!

OH MY!! That is really low! Mine got down to 99/40 and I felt horrible!! I could not imagine!!

The protein drinks did that to me too! NASTY!!! It will get better in time. I can drink them now, just don't like to!
