How much weight did you lose on the liquid pre-op diet?

how long did you have to be on it?

i just started mine today and i was curious what others lost. i have to do mine for 7 days

I had to do mine for two weeks. I started it at 231 and by surgery day I was down to 217--so 14 pounds. And that's also how much I've lost from surgery date to now--two weeks out.

14 pounds is very good.

I was on the pre-op diet for 14 days and lost 12 pounds total, I have lost 12 more since my 04/26/11 surgery.

I lost 11 lbs on 2 week pre-op liquid diet.

Ok so far 3 people who lost 11-14 lbs on 2 week pre op Clear liquids.

in my fantasy dream world i was hoping i would lose that amount of weight in one week lol

I was on my pre op diet for 2 weeks, and I lost 36 pounds on mine. We all (including my Surgeon) were very happy about this - it made surgery that much easier for me and my surgeon.

I'm one week down on preop diet and have lost 14lbs so far. One week to go. Joan

Sleeves: It really depends on your size, how much you are used to eating and of course your activity level. I am doing my pre-op diet and I started at 351 on the 6th and I am at 335 11days later so that's 16 pounds in 11 days. I am eating though...so it really doesn't answer your liquid diet question, just thought I'd share...lol.

2 weeks, 13 lbs

Mine was only 3 days of clears pre op. I lost 7 lbs.
