  2. Wishing you a speedy and joy filled recovery!! My internal med sux had a similar story and not only highly recommends the procedure but also his doc. He took a full year to recover fully and was super super sick with multiple complications. I am impressed with your positive attitude and I know that makes the biggest impact on recovery. Grateful prayers that you are doing great!! Keep us updated. Blessings, Joan
  3. I have UC / Chrons disease and pre-op through liquid diet post op I had diarrhea 2 to 5 times per day. Once on regular food I have a normal bm once a day. Hooray!!!!!! no problems with anything at all too. Feel great and am down 50 pounds total 8 wks post op. Goodluck! Joan
  4. I was a 12 and can now wear most 11s!!!! I went up to a 13 when Preggo. So, yes!!! Hard to believe but w 50 lbs down...I seem to now have skinny feet. Lol!!
  5. It can help you especially when plateau-ING. You can even break a regular 45 min work out in 22 min. 2x per day and boost your metabolism. It stokes the fire and can help your body release more fat/burn more calories for longer. Yay for you for having the health and energy to want to!! Joan
  6. I think exercise and nutrition can make a humongous difference. I am a physical therapist by background and can tell you that your percent body fat is very controllable if you want it to be. Toning, flexibility and cardio work can change a lot of how it all turns out...but you gotta want it and be willing to pay the price for it too. Hang onto your goals!! You can get there!! Joan
  7. Yay!!! I never knew how fat my feet were but I am down a size already. Hee hee. Congrats!!
  8. Congrats!!!! You are an inspiration!!!! Woohoo!!! Joan
  9. My hubby has p90x and I think this is kind of the girl version. Anyone have this and like it? I am going to the gym and would like to do classes but still feel too fat. I like the idea of changing up dvds daily to break it up. Let me know if you like it please. (I know a ton of people sell it. I want some unbiased opinions. Lol) Thanks!! Joan
  10. I had weird burning sensations like my skin was on fire. It went away after week 3. Doc recommended ice or heat and said it was normal. Cutting thru muscle can cause that skin pain...pulling etc. Hope that helps!! Joan
  11. Thank you MegInOla!!!! It is like something is not right with this picture!! I am eating so little. Lol!! I figured my body must be doing a freak out thing...plus holding onto every morsel of food I give it. I needed to hear something encouraging though!! God bless ya!!
  12. Anyone experience this?? I was on liquids extra long due to Chrons disease. Started on foods about a week ago and have gained four pounds!!! I am still losing inches but it is hard to see the scale go up. I am mostly eating protein (fish, turkey or chicken), then veggies if room. Low on carbs. Protein drinks make me want to vomit...although I am going to try some mirilax for some mild constipation. I am also adding in gym time this week. I'm sure it will reverse but dog gone I want to see the scale go down again!!! Joan (almost 6 wks out and lost 42 lbs. Although was 46 lbs lost!!)
