Weight Gain

Well I knew that it would happen someday but I didn't think it would happen this quickly. I gained weight this week :( (1 lb) It’s a real sucky feeling but I have no one to blame but myself! For the 4 days this past week I didn't get in enough Protein and I know a big key to my weight loss is getting in 60+g of Protein EVERYDAY. I also took in a lot more carbs then I usually do and I didn't make it to the gym in two weeks now. I was sick one week and then the next I just didn't go because I would have only been able to go one day since the rest we were out of town. So like I said, My Fault all the way! I KNOW what I need to be doing now I must just do it! For whatever reason it seems that now I can "see" myself and my excuses better than I used to! I guess before surgery I chose to not see and now I chose to see. By making excuses I am just hurting myself and I don't want to do that! I WANT to be healthy and lose all my weight, I WANT to feel good in my own skin and I WANT to be physically fit! I can only do those things if I Choose to eat the right things and I go to the gym! Today is a new day and I'm going to Choose the right way!

Alright you can stop beating yourself up know. I for one am proud of you to acknowledge you made the mistake and taking corrective action. To me that is very admirable..

I read somewhere on here that the amount of calories you would have to eat to gain a pound or two overnight is almost impossible for new sleevers. Once I read that, I stop beating myself up and kept it moving.

It's good to recognize our own mistakes! But what I think is... All my skinny friends have times where they gain 1-2 kgs just like that. Stress, job, whatever. Then they lose them again, just like that. You've worked so hard until now (I see it from your ticker!) and I don't think you should beat yourself up. It happens to "normal" (as for body figure) people, it can happen to us too. My hubby gains and loses 1-2 kgs all the time. Even 3 or 4 sometimes. It just depends on his mood and his job, not really on his physical activity or his food.< /p>

And now you are to start again, so... Good! Maybe you just needed a break...

And look at this one, at least you don't weigh what you used too right? Get back on that path and walk it . . . you'll do well. . . we all have these problems. . .I'm stalled now for 2 months, my fault cause i've fallen into a bit of a depression and really couldn't care less right now. . .but at least i don't weigh 350lbs right??? :D

I was going to post the same thing!!! However, instead of your o1 lb, try 2 lbs. I know that I have no one to blame but me but I am just sick with myself. I did not work out last week because I was sick and then I did not eat like I normally eat nor did I drink all of my liquids like I was suppose to. I am also taking some meds so I don't know if has anything to do with the weight gain also. I am just going to push myself this week and to try and get back to where I was at. I am hoping that it is just a fluke and that I did not actually gain the 2 lbs.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
