And for the record-- once the weight starts coming off, the sex is going to get AWESOME! good luck ;)

This ---^ It only gets better from here on out!

I was sexually active a couple days post-op although I mainly just laid there at the time - lol. I waited a couple weeks before I was back in the mood for the real deal.

Hi At the orientation seminar and again in the paperwork I got from my surgeon it said sex was okay as soon as you felt comfortable having it. We ended up waiting 2 weeks in part because I had a drain in for 9 days.

My doctor told me it takes about 6 to 8 weeks for everything to heal. We didn't ask the doctor when we could have intercourse again, now my husband wants to wait all those weeks! He says is bad to have sex when you have had surgery and you haven't heal well. Let's see how long will he really wait;);)

I had surgery On a Monday and was ready to go and did on Wednesday. I was pretty lucky. Only took extra strength tylonel on the day I got home and nothing after that. It was a walk in the park for me after 4 c sections.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
