Embarrassing question

Recommended Posts

I had my surgery on Nov 26th and now, for last one-two weeks or so, I can sometimes have a very light color of diarreah, though in very small amounts. sometimes it can be 5 times a day, and other days it can be none at all. Any ideas?

are you still on liquids? liquids in , liquids out.

When you move to regular food, you'll probably have the opposite problem.

your body is trying to get used to what has happened to it. At least that is how it was explained to me. I had diarrhea up to 5 times a day for the first 3 weeks and then it went away. . hope this helps a bit. . . good luck

How light? If it's beige, then there's something wrong with your gallbladder (most likely stone somewhere).

I am on regular food, except for things like raw vegetables and sald. I have really only been eating things like chicken, tuna fish, salmon and eggs. I have not eaten vegetables because I feel that if they have no Protein, why bother? I do see the nursing staff on Monday, so maybe they will be able to help. Thanks for replying.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
