Bringing home restaurant leftovers

Recommended Posts

What are your thoughts on bringing home the salad from a restaurant meal? I had a yummy caesar salad last night, only took like 3 bites and left it because I thought it would be too soggy to eat the next day. Now I'm day-dreaming over how good that salad was LOL.

I guess if the salad doesn't have dressing on it, it would probably be okay.

I never bring home the salad leftovers anymore. I did a couple of times, and it seemed like the lettuce lost it's luster, that watery stuff would gather in the bottom of the container kind of grossed me out. The only time I'll bring home salad is if I'm going to eat it later that day. I'm a bit of a lettuce snob so it's rare for me to even order salad out, but when I do, I typically eat 90% of it.

I'd bring it home if it didn't have dressing and wrap it up in paper towel then put that in a ziploc bag. That's how I normally store my lettuce in the frig anyway, so maybe it will work with leftovers.

I bring salads home all the time. But I don't keep them longer than 1 day, they get gross afterwards.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
