I've been lurking for the past few days.... posting little things here and there. So today I thought it was time to introduce myself!

I'm Jes. I'm twenty three. I've been married to my love for four years now.

We live in Baltimore, Maryland. I'm a teachers assistant.

I am hoping to have my surgery in December!

Thank you everyone who posts. Originally, I was leaning heavily towards the band. Then, my nutritionist made a comment, and made me start looking into the sleeve.

Through reading this forum, I have decided the sleeve is the way to go

Hi and welcome to VST! We are happy to have you join us here. I wish I had have the option of weight loss surgery available to me when I was your age, my life would have been so different. Congratulations on your decision and keep us posted on how you are doing.

I was the same way, went looking for one type WLS ended up with a different one. Glad I did!

As you have already learned from lurking on this site there is not much about VSG you cannot find out about here.

Nikkey-I'm going through Franklin Square. I normally hate them. But, I met with their weight loss surgery team... and, they're amazing.
