Chickening Out
I really hope you decide to go through with the surgery. I know the fear is there, I even had second thoughts as the doctor was talking to us the day before my surgery. But I am so glad I went through with the it. VSG has changed my life in so many ways and has actually given me my life back. Good Luck on your journey.

They are shooting Americans in Mexico, how safe are we?
I would say a lot of it depends on where you are going and how you are getting there, just like it is in the USA. There are certain places in the USA I go and certain places I don't go. I felt perfectly safe flying into San Diego, being picked up and driven to Mexicali by the doctor's driver. My brother went with me and he never felt scared either. I would go back to Mexicali in a heartbeat. Hope this helps. Good Luck on your journey.
