I just got the call from my surgeon's office that they are switching my surgery 4 days sooner! I'm excited, but a little nervous! Has anyone had that happen to them? Thanks for your responds in advance.

I had my sugery moved from December 2, to September 2. They called me on Tuesday and asked if I could be there the next day. No time to get nervous. Good luck

Congrats! I had something similar... I called them to push it back a few weeks due to a work conflict and they pushed it forward a week and started my clear liquid diet right then! The bad thing was I didn't get any "lasts" (meal, diet coke, etc.). The good thing though was not having the worry that goes with that. All of a sudden it was there!

Good luck! I'm about 10 days out from surgery and feeling great.

If I could switch places with you I would. I want to get this big ball rollin' asap. Just think - you'll be 4 days closer to your goal. 4 days less liquid diet. Sounds good.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
