Finally hit Onderland

Congrats! I'm so glad you made it to Onderland: the land of merely overweight, not obese, and -gasp! even normal BMIs! The land of normal size clothing and shopping in any store- not just the ones with Plus-size departments. The land of theme park rides, airplane seats, and restaurant booths. The land of happy knee joints, normal blood pressure, and feet that can walk for miles without screaming for mercy. Onderland - it was the land of my dreams for more than 10 years. I'm happy to say I'm with you and looking forward to the 180s!!

happy to be in onederland too. with the lapband I lost 38# before it leaked and failed and could never get below 202.5.sleeved, I am here at last at 195 and working my way down. it is a magic number about fat shame and discrimination... the world in the usa is not kind to large people and it is getting more so. lots of things fit: it has been 15 yr since I weighed this, but I hung onto my clothes and everyday I find myself reaquainted with an old friend clothing wise. or reunited. love and best wishes , may we all get where we are going.

Congratulations on onederland!

I can't wait to join you. It's in my sights. Also a little scary. Under 200 is where I have been and then gained it back too any times. I can do this!

It's been 20 yrs since I saw anything under 200!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
