as most know ive have lost a lot of weigh thus far. 146 pounds to be exact. anyway when i got about 220 pounds my arms and thighs was not looking too hot and my arms bother me then anything. there was a lot of lose fat and i was dreading the fact that i may need more surgery and after the ordeal with my sleeve i was not looking forward to more surgery also who want to be stuck covering their arms all summer long. so 5 months ago today i decide to start lifting weights. an here are the results. i'm 176 pounds right now. as you can see the pics speak for it self. so i'm not stuck covering my arms this summer! now my thighs are another story but the are a lot smaller and i have lost 4 more inches off of them and there is a huge improvment to them (no i wont be posting my thighs at least not now lol) but they look fine in swiming boy shorts and to me that like wearing a two piece. so moral of the story is lift those weights.

1st pick was at 220 and plenty of sagging. 2nd pic is 4 months out. 3rd is a pic of my arms today at 176.

Hi Nikki,

I just had my surgery two weeks ago as of yesterday. I was wondering If I would have to have another surgery to have a Tummy Tuck - I DO NOT want to go through any other surgery. After reading your post and seeing your pic, you have given me hope that I can tone up my body using some form of weight training. Yes, it will be hard work, but I know that I would have good results in the end.

I just wanted to thank you for putting a smile on my face and giving me hope. Also, I hope everything is going well for you.

Hi All,

For those who hate the gym or can't get there, go to www.billyblanks.com and check out the DVD's.. I haven't been sleeved yet but have been working out with Billy and lost 40lbs on my own with these DVD's....click the links below to take you to the DVD's that I use.

http://www.billyblanks.com/product/store/fitness/tone-sculpt-shape/sculpt+express.do

http://www.billyblanks.com/product/store/fitness/fat+burn/turbo+charged+fat+burner.do

You will burn fat and tone and sculpt. Also, don't worry about keeping up his pace at first, go at your own pace so that way you are able to build up your strenth and stamina.

Also, another way to tone up those arms are to do a exercise I used to do in gym class many yrs ago. Stand with feet hip with apart and arms raised shoulder height with palms down. Turn your body to the right by using your waist only (which will then cause your arms to be one in front for you and one behind you), return to the start position and turn your body to the left. Do at least 10 reps to start and build your way up to higher reps. Your arms will be toned in no time!!!! Also, if you are concerned about your thighs, lay on your bed on either your right or left side (whichever side you prefer to start with) and put your legs together and depending on what side you are laying on lift the leg that is free in the air as high as it can go and return to the start position without having your feet or ankles touch. Do 10 reps and do the other side. Again, increase your reps once yout get stronger. This will tighten your outter & inner thighs, and shrink your hips and backside.

I'm not professing to be an exercise guru but these things have worked for me and my husband. I'm 275 lbs and in a very loose size 18 some 16's. At that weight I should be at least wearing a 22 or 24 but with the regimen above I have toned and tightened.

Hope this helps and many blessings to all of you!

Keshia

Your arms look great. I will start that today if I don't do anything else. I thought about buying the shake weight but I don't think I'll get the same results.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
