No not yet. I'm doing the 6 month diet for insurance. But i'll be done with that on June 14. So I am really getting impatient.

I really like Dr. Heider as well. And it doesn't hurt that he is really easy on the eyes.

haha, yes he is a very good looking doctor! The nurses also spoke highly of him, which means a lot. They all said he was very kind and his patients generally did very well. Good luck with getting your surgery scheduled! Do you come to any support group meetings?

I was there last week for the 1st time. I really enjoyed it. I learned a lot about my triggers.

I love Dr. Heider so much! I really trusted him, which was important to me. I like the program they have and I think I made a good decision to go with him instead of the Hickory program. Have you had your surgery yet?

Congratulations and have a smooth recovery, I'm a month away from my surgery and I can't wait. Do you know the buggie size they used on you?

No, I don't know what size. I know my doctor doesn't use boughies... he uses something similar. I asked him about it and he said he used something else. I'm not sure what or what size it was. His patients have had incredible success, so I trust him.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
