Magic Bullet?

Recommended Posts

I've been reading things about the "Magic Bullet" so I looked it up on the internet ... WOW~kind of expensive ($100 for 2 plus $35 S/H) on its official website:eek: or I can buy it at Walgreen's for $60.

I already have a food processor and blender ... can anyone tell me what I'm not seeing :noidea:... it just looks like a food processor/blender together, why is it so terrific?:)

Please advise.

Good luck to all in June on our journey. :cheer2: I'm going to my surgical support group tomorrow night ... can't wait to see them and to get weighed. Curiosity killed the cat.

I have one and I have a genaric one Mrs Kitchens works just as well and it cost $30.00.You can do the same thing with a blender( a good one) I get a bag of Dole frozen fruit and some low sugar juice and make fruit sorbet.

I make Protein Drinks in the morning. chicken salad. But like I said you can use a blender to do all this also.

I went to wallmart and got me a 11.99 blender. It is the best... I am drinking vegetable and OC shakes every morning. But I am eating a lot all day long. I think cause I am nervous.. plus I tell my self I will never eat like this again.

I love my Magic Bullet! The blender takes up so much space on the counter, and the MB doesn't. I also love blending in the cup I drink from -- less cleanup -- and I take it with me on trips so I can blend in my hotel room.

I love love love my Magic Bullet! You can get one at Walmart for about $45 I think. I pureed everything in it, still use it for after fills, and make Protein Drinks in it. (and salsa) The good thing is that you can drink right out of the "cup" you mix things in and dont have anything else to wash. I think it is well worth the money. The wand type doesnt fit into my glasses and is a mess to clean, but this just my 2 cents!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
