I think I over did it this weekend

Recommended Posts

My dh and I worked all weekend around the house, mainly outside. We weeded the landscaping, planted new flowers, put in all new mulch, cut & swept the grass, cleaned off the porches, & cleaned the pool. Not to mention we had a football game on Saturday & I cleaned a little & did some laundry.

I am exhausted today. My whole body is sore. I'm pretty sure I didn't drink or eat enough while we were working. Since I don't feel hungry that often anymore, I sometimes forget to eat if I'm busy. I didn't drink my entire Protein Shake each morning like I should have & I didn't drink enough Water throughout the day. I had to stop working yesterday afternoon because I became very dizzy. DH bought me some G2 Gatorade & that made me feel a bit better as did eating a little.

I think I'd feel much better if we were almost done, but we're not. Our garage is so full of junk I can't get my van in there anymore. Our upstairs is still cluttered & need cleaned out. We still have some painting to do. UGH! I don't want to think about it anymore! :sad0:

The good news is that the realtor is coming by today to get our file & get our house listed on the market. I am praying it sells relatively quickly & close to our asking price.

I over did it as well. I wish I could say that I over did it with work, but I over did it with junk food. Cookies to be exact. I just decided to take a break from it all and ate an entire bag of cookies. they were mint choc. like the girl scout cookies. I decided to eat the whole bag in one day rather than drag it out. They are gone now and it's back to the ol routine. I gained 2 lbs which I didn't think was that much for an entire bag of cookies. I think it's because I have been really sick. I can't exercise because I feel like cr@p and all I have been doing is laying around . I go to the dr. tomorrow. I am really sick of being sick.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
