Thanks for all the support, it really helps.

A few posts back someone was asking about my height and weight. As you can see from my pics and I just a little shorty.

I am 53, just 5ft tall and now weigh around 120 depending on the day with a 2 or 3 lb fluctuation.

What kinds of things do you eat? Did you exercise a lot?

I am 5'2" and I just seemed to have stopped losing. If you could let me know what a days' menu looks like for you, I would appreciate it. thanks!

Hey Phoenix,

Congrats on your success!

I have a question for you: When did you know you didn't need your CPAP?

I have had 2 surgeries for Apnea, so in theory, I should be off of it fairly soon after. I have found (and I don't know if it is related or not) that I wake up with a bit of an upset stomach, as though it was a bit distended. I wonder if the air pressure is making its way down there? In any event, I have altered the pressure down to half what it was before, but I am wondering when to just go without.

Any thoughts would be helpful.

It really is unbelievable what has happened in the past 6 months. I have only begun to look at myself in the mirror recently for the first time in my life. I used to only look at myself from the neck up. I would go out of my way to avoid full length mirrors or even seeing my reflection when approaching a store's glass doors or windows.

When I see myself I honestly can't believe it. To go from wearing a 6x or sz 36 d:sad0:ress size to a 22 is amazing to me. I was even able to buy a couple of size 18 blouses recently and they fit because of the way they are made. These are firsts for me as I have always been very large. I graduated high school weighing 313 lbs. Therefore, this is a brand new world to me.

Shucks, I have a lap now!!!

122 lbs down, 78 to go!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
