Ack! My time is finally here! My DH and I are flying out tomorrow morning for my surgery on Tuesday. It's my first time flying EVER! I don't think I'll sleep much at all tonight...I'm ready to get this over with!

My DH is bringing a laptop from his work so I hope I can pop in here to let everyone know how it's going. I still can not believe it's MY turn! :thumbup1:

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO How exciting for you ... your time is almost here - that's GREAT. You'll do fine on the plane -- just take a benadryl or something and you'll probably sleep most of the time. If not, take something to read or some music to listen too.

Enjoy your time in San Diego and trust and believe in Dr. Aceves and his team -- you've got the best of the best in my opinion.

If you can let us know how things are going - GREAT - if not, then we'll wait to hear from you as soon as you can.

I KNOW that things will go great for you and you'll be on your way to a new life before you know it!

I am so excited for you. Don't worry about flying, you will do fine. I flew for the first time last year and actually found I enjoyed it. You are going to do great, Dr. Aceves is absolutely amazing. I was so impressed with him, his staff and the hospital. You will love them. Can't wait to hear how you do!

Hope you have a nice flight. The only thing I hate about flying is that it's really boring.

You will love Dr. Aceves and Dr. Campos. You are on your way to becoming a skinny new you!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
