Port Pressure?

Recommended Posts

I've been noticing every once in a while I feel pressure around my port. Is this maybe from eating too much? Anyone else experience this?

I was going to ask a similar question. I feel pressure even a little discomfort/pain around my port when I'm exercising these days. I find myself holding on to that area to make it lessen. I don't know what its from...maybe its bouncing around in there? ha ha. So, I'll be interested in reading what kind of responses you get here!

My NP told me the port will hurt for awhile, and maybe even come and go forever, because it is attached to your ab muscle. Anytime you move you use that muscle so that is why it hurts sometimes.

I've been experiencing port pressure as well, but I'm thinking it's from wearing pants that are too tight at the waist area... Even leggings are causing discomfort. It's only bad when I'm sitting for long periods of time. Not sure if it's related.

Mine will hurt if I'm on my feet for a long time and especially if I go for a walk.

Mine hurts if I am running or doing ab work at the gym, if I am running I often have to hold it in place.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
