I am in Bandland!

It's over and I have officially made it to bandland! I had my surgery yesterday May 8th and I am totally excited. I managed to get up and walk around today. I did nap most of the afternnon because I took some drugs, otherwise I am doing well. I just took a shower and feel pretty good. I just wanted to thank everyone for the well wishes! I'll be keeping you all updated...:)

Thanks! I've been sipping and trying to get all my portein in. Liquid diet orders are to drink 1 ounce every 15 minutes while awake. I do have some gas pains but it's going away. I'll try to walk today and I am going to drive to the store. This is pretty cool....

7 days with no driving? WOW! I would have been SOL, I went back to work less than a week after surgery! :D

Congrats Poster Child... welcome to bandland! :clap2:

They told me I could drive after 24 hours. I did go to the store about 3 miles away. I had to get my haircut this morning and my sister-in-law drove me. I do feel better but don't want to over do it!
