As of 8:03AM 7/23/2013.... I finally cleared the 50 lbs. lost hurdle! 50.3 to be exact! :-D

Congratulations! I'm at a stall right now, have lost 55 lbs since 12/28/12 but I still have to reach my goal which will be ONEderland (under 200 lbs.). After that my next goal will be to get below 190. I'm setting my goals in 10 pound increments. If I didn't do that I'd be so frustrated! Hopefully I'll get to my goal by my one year bandiversary in Dec, 2013. One day at a time, slow and steady.

I have the same goal of seeing my weight at 199 and then working in 10 pound increments. I was banded July 25 and weighed 244. I had been dieting off and on for a year and half and lost 60 pounds. Got to 202 pounds! Went off the diet regime of weighing in weekly etc at the beginning of February this year Gained 42 pounds in 6 months. I hope I am successful with this. Good luck to you!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
