Hello fellow lapbanders!

I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of the weightloss "drug" Ace? I'm not a fan of weightloss pills in the slightest, but I have heard this is a natural way to assist in the body burning fat. A friend mentioned it to me yesterday and said that she has dropped 2-3 dress sizes since the summer has started when she began taking Ace. I googled it and didn't really find any detailed information on this product as far as if it's an appetite suppressant or just a Vitamin type thing. I'm hoping she isn't taking anything that would harm her body. Any info anyone has on it would be great to hear for research's sake. Thanks!

It's got a lot of stimulants in it, including caffeine and cocoa. It also has about 400% of the recommended B6- which can lead to nerve damage in the arms and legs.

Here's a great breakdown of it. My personal opinion? I wouldn't touch it.

Yeah, I'm with Mis. Stay away from it! Just reading all the caffeine in it, I'm already having palpitations. I found this link with a bunch of info...

I had taken it for a week or so before I got my Lapband on track. It's definitely the "new" thing to try around the area where I live. I couldn't tell a huge difference, but didn't take it long. I have heard it works quickly, but I'm sure there are always side effects. I have someone left I could sure stand to take for a jump start.

I wouldn't do it either. the problem with wl pills is that the minute you stop taking it you risk the chance of gaining it back double.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
