Yoyr body just under went major surgery. Fluid retention, etc comes along with that. I recommend staying off the scale and focusing on healing :)

Yes, I gained 6 lbs the day after surgery, it's gas and fluids that you received during surgery, it will be gone soon....Best Wishes :)

Yesterday I weighed myself in the morning and the scale showed 186.6. A few hours later, I weighed myself again and it showed 189.4. We just need to stay off the scale! Lol. NSV moment: today I wore a black t-shirt I purchased two months ago. It used to be fairly close to my belly. It is size XL. However, today, when I wore it, it looks like a mini- dress. Amazing!

I am addicted to the scale and have put it under my bed so far that I forgot where it was and when I really wanted to weigh myself for my weekly weigh in I had to climb under the bed. That caused me to notice how much I needed to dust. It's just not fair! Best of luck and don't worry about the slight weight gain. It will be gone in a few days as soon as that gas thing goes away.

This is completely normal. Your body just went through major surgery and us retaining fluid. It will come off. I too have a problem with the scale but not any more.....my husband threw it away LOL, which was a huge favor to me! The only time i weigh now is when i go in for my followup appoint. It helps!!

My doctor only wants me to weigh when I come in for fills once a month. Watching the scale every day can drive you crazy. I still do though...
