who lets out a loud burp after eating???

I think it is so funny after I eat, a few minutes later I let out a long burp and every one around me just look like are you ok, it is so strange to me, I wonder why I do that now.

I burp a little after each bite goes down but it's very small. I also get the internal hiccups. There isn't any noise it's more like 3 or 4 small muscle spasms in my stomach that passes the food through and lets me know I'm done eating.

I just thought it was so weird, because it is so loud I try to hold in, I was at church and I hadn't even eaten I let out the loudest growl and one of the ladies looked at me and said I sound like a lion, and then we both fell out laughing, I guess its just this new crazy thing my body does now..i don't know I thought I was the only one..

Nope I also do it all the time after I eat or drink everybody knows it so their used to it lol I think the air needs to get out from our band as I know I don' t get heart burn or gerd any more so it' s o k.

This morning I was drinking and my bad made a REALLY LOUD, and really long gurgling noise!!! Everyone in my meeting at work turned to look at me and I just shrugged and we all laughed!

that's too funny our bodies are like transforming into I don't know what

I get what I call "hiccurps" after eating. It's like combination hiccup and burp. I get about a half dozen of them every time I'm done eating.

I have been experiencing these today... Hiccurp. Or burcup.

I do it too! My huge man burps, as I call them, are random. They might come directly after a meal, or 30-40 minutes later. I don't feel them coming. They come with no warning at all. I can't tell you the number of strange looks I have gotten in restaurants, stores, etc., probably because when it happens, my kids, bf and myself, laugh uncontrollably because I'm usually so 'ladylike'!

Hehehe, I get them too at the worst times! At least we can all laugh at ourselves :P

Armonet, I know because that's what it sounds like, when it first started I was like what in the heck is going on in this body of mine, but as strange as it may sound I guess that's our trademark as lap banders..LOL OMG

I posted about this last week too! My husband has always said I burp like a guy, but this is even worse because it comes without warning. I used to strategically save my burp until it was really good just to annoy him, but now it surprises me too! Lol! I think I've figured out though, that the first one while I'm eating is my soft stop. This is my first cue that I've eaten enough. After that first burp, I can usually only eat a few more bites then I'm done. Pay attention to them and see if this is true for you.
