PISSED nothing but sliders

Recommended Posts

My dr says liquids for 24 hours which I did. It wasn't dry at all but I did have BBQ Sauce on it.

I just can't imagine having 2 bites and it be ok for the rest of my life that's not healthy right? And with those very few bites I took I waited my minute and was having chest pain.. So it wasn't like I wasn't waiting and shoving my face with food so maybe in still swollen and only sliders can go down.. Hmm.

Never thought of being super sensitive to fill but now that I think about it I've gotten a fill drank the Water they make you drink and I was gurgling and the was only a half of a half a CC.

I agree with you. I would not want to live on two bites the rest of my life! Not very satisfying. Hope you get a slight unfill soon.

I'm thinking I'm just sensitive to fills and my "small bites" aren't that small. So I'm fixing my bite size. Got to eat a little more today. Thank you for all the advice!

Ok because I've heard of people loosing up?

I took a bite of chicken that was about 1 inch long 1 cm wide and less then a cm thick that's why I'm so ugh about it. It was nothing... and im a really good chewer. 2 maybe 3 bites isn't enough for 3 or 4 hours.

Thinking to tight

One inch is pretty big when dealing with the band to be honest. You need to have half of that at a time in my opinion. That should work. Chew good before swallowing as well. Im curious to know if the smaller bites work. Let us know

Bri.... Those bites are way too big. when you cut the pieces should be no bigger than the nail bed on your pinky finger. Not the part that extends out over your finger... Good luck

I never knew my "small" bites were actually "big bites" ... Smaller bites are working tried it out this morning. I guess when you've been shoveling food in your mouth for so long it doesn't seems so big.

Thank you guys!

What is "slimed" I am new to the band and have had one filler done 2 weeks ago, but my struggle is that I'm still hungry.

I've slimed only once, but it's not pleasant. Eat the wrong thing and it will not go down, it's like vomiting but not as intense and it's full of "thick spit" - so it's the food you ate mixed with lots of spit and it's slimy.

Brianna,

Glad you are doing better today, it's all about trial and error with these things! Want you to know though that I truly laughed out loud when I read, "like throwing up a jelly fish", in fact I am still laughing! Think what is the most funny is that you are soooo accurate on that description!

Have a great day!

Ann

It is a reality check for all of us! We all are hear because we over ate and the changes aren't easy. It is nice we all have a place like this to go and double check! Glad it is working for you!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
